A Little Corner of the Internet
A welcome note about the early web and making a little home online.
Welcome to FIGPDX.
I grew up with the internet of the 1990s, when websites felt like little places you could wander into. They were personal, handmade, and sometimes a little strange in the best way.
You’d find fan pages, journals, collections of pictures, someone’s favorite links, or a page built around one very specific interest. There was no particular reason to visit except that someone had made it and wanted to put it out into the world.
I miss that feeling of following a link and ending up somewhere unexpected.
FIGPDX is my small independent home on the web. I’m working on Hello Flower Island and Loomer, and this journal is where I’ll share the occasional note, sketch, experiment, or discovery along the way.
No schedule. Just a place to put things I feel like sharing.
Thanks for stopping by.
