About these terms
Hello Flower Island is developed and operated by FIGPDX (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms apply when you install, access, or use the app and its related services. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Hello Flower Island is an unofficial companion app for Hello Kitty Island Adventure. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sanrio, Sunblink, or other rights holders. Their names, characters, and game materials belong to their respective owners.
Using the app
You may use Hello Flower Island to explore flower information, keep a garden collection and journal, and use the Community features you choose to enable. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity on your account.
Use the app lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with the app or its services, try to access accounts or systems without permission, impersonate another gardener, or use the app to harass, threaten, or harm someone.
Hello Flower Island is designed to be suitable for children and families. A parent or guardian should review these terms and the Privacy Policy with a child and help them with account sign-in and optional Community features.
Your garden and app materials
Your garden collection, cultivation choices, and journal entries are your records. The app stores garden information on your device and, if you sign in, syncs a garden snapshot to Cloud Firestore. Your full private garden collection is not shared through the Community garden-size count.
The app’s software, visual design, and original artwork are owned by FIGPDX or its licensors. You may use them as part of the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially use the app or its materials without permission, except where the law allows. Flower names, characters, and other materials from Hello Kitty Island Adventure remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Community features
Community features are optional. They let you choose a nickname and flower avatar, find gardeners, send or respond to friend requests, share flower discoveries, react to friends’ discoveries, and send flower-related wishes. Your chosen nickname may appear in the in-app gardener directory. Information you choose to share about a flower, including its species, colors, pattern, and discovery time, can be seen by accepted friends along with your nickname and avatar.
The app does not include chat, private messages, or open-ended messaging, and it does not provide a way to exchange email addresses or other contact details. Use the available controls to manage friend requests, remove or block friends, or disable Community sharing. Do not use a nickname, avatar, friend request, reaction, or wish to impersonate, harass, threaten, or spam another person.
If you have a safety concern or want to report misuse, email julian@figpdx.com. We may limit or suspend access to an account or Community feature when reasonably needed to address misuse, protect users or the service, or comply with law.
Account deletion
You can request deletion in the app by going to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirming. This deletes your Firebase Authentication account and associated account data, including your account profile, Community profile and nickname listing, friend and block relationships, friend requests, shared flower feed entries, reactions, and sent or received wishes, except for information we are legally required to retain. It also deletes cloud-synced garden data associated with your account. Garden data stored only on your device may remain until you delete the app or clear its data.

Purchases
Hello Flower Island includes a free garden collection of up to 100 flowers. A one-time Full Garden purchase unlocks collecting beyond that limit. The planned U.S. price is $2.99; the price shown by the App Store at checkout is the price that applies to your storefront.
Garden Club includes Full Garden access plus online garden backup and sync, friends, community gardens, activity, Wish Well, and community statistics. It is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, planned at $1.99 per month in the U.S., or an auto-renewing annual subscription, planned at $11.99 per year in the U.S. The App Store displays the current price, renewal terms, and any applicable taxes before purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Apple processes in-app purchases and subscription payments. Purchases are subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies. Full Garden is a one-time purchase. Garden Club access continues until the subscription period ends, even if you turn off renewal. Your locally stored garden remains on your device if Garden Club access ends; cloud backup and Community features pause, and any separate Full Garden purchase remains active. App Store prices may vary by country or region.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue app features and services. They may sometimes be unavailable. We may also update these terms as the app changes. For material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice in the app or on our website when appropriate. The updated terms apply from their effective date.
Disclaimers and limits
Hello Flower Island is provided for personal enjoyment and general information. To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee that the app or its services will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
